It's been a while, no?

Not like anyone actually reads these things, but whatever. A little update on the current status of Daniel for the few interested.

My recent art lack should be fixed soon. As some of you know, I recently made the trek from just outside of Dallas to my hometown of middle-od-fucking-nowhere, Florida. That's pretty much the entire reason I've been lacking in art submissions. I'm all settled in, but still need to find work. When that's taken care of and the return to some kind of normal routine has been met, expect a flood of crap. I make these promises often and sometimes fail to deliver, but this is no joke. There's plenty of stuff on my HD just sitting, waiting patiently to find its way onto my dA page.

First and foremost of the aforementioned art bomb is the collection of test sprites for ESP.er. Those of you that frequent the fine Prime Central Station forum have already seen the majority of them, but there have been numerous small fixes. Don't expect to be BLOWN AWAY OH MY GAWD, but do expect at least a minor update to the lot of them. Kiwi has tipped me off to a potentially great method of animation, but I've yet to work the kinks out. For now, static stance poses will have to suffice. Deal.

Secondly, the ESP.er pages. I've almost completely scripted a prequel/companion graphic novel for the game in progress. It has done wonders in terms of characterization, aiding my overall images of the characters' personalities and mannerisms, which should be evident when the animation gets heavily under way. Some of the pages are sitting at about 95% completion, nearly ready for dA examination. Keep your eyes open, cats and kittens.

Stomping Grounds, my primary graphic novel project, has temporarily been put on hold for the sake of the ESP.er companion. Pages from that should also be showing up down the road, although not as swiftly as I'd like to promise.

The rest of my millions of projects remain on hiatus, though that status doesn't void them from random bouts of sketchery.
